Security Governance Director

Job Summary

To support a growing cybersecurity framework, the full-time remote Security Governance Director will manage technology alignment with business strategy, oversee risk assessments, and establish policies to ensure compliance with regulatory standards in the financial services industry.

Key responsibilities

• Provide company-wide Security Governance consultation and direction
• Conduct risk assessments on business applications and systems to ensure compliance
• Develop client-facing security materials and metrics that connect security outcomes to business enablement

Required qualifications

• Senior-level experience in security governance, risk management, or client assurance
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity governance and regulatory expectations in financial services
• Experience partnering with product management or engineering on security-related projects
• Working knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST CSF or ISO 27001
• Experience developing security collateral and engaging with senior leaders and clients
