Security Governance Director

Job Summary

To ensure technology decisions align with business strategy and regulatory requirements, the full-time remote Security Governance Director will manage a comprehensive cybersecurity framework, identify and mitigate security risks, and establish policies to safeguard sensitive financial data.

Key responsibilities

• Provide company-wide Security Governance consultation and direction
• Conduct risk assessments on business applications and systems to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
• Partner with cross-functional teams to translate security requirements and emerging risks into practical guidance

Required qualifications

• Senior-level experience in security governance, risk management, or client assurance
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity governance and regulatory expectations in financial services
• Experience developing client-facing security materials and sales enablement content
• Working knowledge of security and risk frameworks such as NIST CSF or ISO 27001
• Excellent communication skills to engage with senior leaders and technical stakeholders
