Security Lead

Job Summary

Leading the security posture of contractor-provided systems, the full-time Security Lead will manage security documentation, ensure compliance with federal regulations, and oversee continuous monitoring and risk assessments, working primarily onsite.

Key responsibilities

• Lead security documentation and authorization activities to obtain Authority to Operate (ATO) for contractor systems
• Ensure compliance with FISMA and various NIST standards while managing continuous monitoring and incident responses
• Oversee physical security and personnel processing for contractor staff, ensuring proper handling of sensitive data

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, engineering, operations management, or a related field
• 10 or more years of experience leading IT system implementations, including at least 5 years in multi-site deployments
• Experience leading software releases using Agile methods and coordinating hardware deployments
• Working knowledge of logistics and site activation at scale
• Ability to obtain a Department of Commerce (DOC) Background Investigation and Census Special Sworn Status
