Security Managed Services Practitioner

Job Summary

To support the Cybersecurity Operations team, the contract Security Managed Services Practitioner will monitor and triage security alerts, investigate incidents, and maintain operational security playbooks while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and triage security alerts generated by Palo Alto Networks XSIAM and XDR platforms
• Investigate security incidents, endpoint anomalies, and telemetry events across integrated enterprise environments
• Collaborate with client security teams to align detection logic with business risk and infrastructure changes

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• 2-5 years of hands-on experience in Cybersecurity Operations / Incident Response
• Demonstrated expertise in Palo Alto Networks Cortex XSIAM and Cortex XDR platforms
• Strong understanding of threat detection, rule tuning, and security operations workflows
• Experience with Splunk SIEM or complementary log management systems is preferred
