Security Manager

Job Summary

Managing daily security operations, the full-time remote Security Manager will coordinate internal teams and external partners to handle alerts, incidents, and vulnerability remediation while ensuring effective communication and documentation.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee daily security operations workflows, including triage, escalation, and follow-through
• Coordinate incident response activities, maintaining documentation of evidence, timelines, and decisions
• Track and manage vulnerability findings and penetration test results through remediation and closure

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in security operations, incident response, or vulnerability management
• Experience with MSSP, MDR, SOC, SIEM, or managed detection partners
• Familiarity with security case management and ticketing workflows in IT services
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Sentinel and endpoint telemetry platforms like CrowdStrike
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; relevant security certifications preferred
