Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Security Operations Center Analyst II will coordinate and report on cyber incidents affecting U.S. State, Local, Tribal, and Territorial governments while providing analysis and incident response support in a 24x7 SOC environment.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze network and host-based security events and trends from various security devices
- Provide incident response support when actionable incidents are confirmed
- Investigate and report on information security issues and emerging trends
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent demonstrated experience
- Experience analyzing network and host-based security events
- Knowledge of incident response life cycle and TCP/IP protocols
- U.S. citizenship is required
- Understanding of various security methodologies and technical security solutions
