Security Operations Center Director

Job Summary

Leading a team of Tier 1 and Tier 2 SOC Analysts, the full-time remote Security Operations Center Director will oversee daily operations, manage security event monitoring and incident response, and ensure high-quality technical support to enhance client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the Security Operations Center, mentoring team members and ensuring excellent customer service
• Develop and implement processes for incident response, threat detection, and security event management
• Drive continuous improvement of SOC incident handling and security investigations while defining metrics and KPIs for quality and efficiency

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related discipline preferred, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
• 2-3 years of SOC experience, with managerial experience preferred
• Professional experience in a system administration role supporting multiple platforms and applications
• Experience with creating playbooks and effective security processes
• CISSP certification preferred
