Security Operations Leader

Job Summary

Owning security operations and infrastructure reliability, the full-time Head of Security & Infrastructure will lead security initiatives across cloud, edge, and on-chain surfaces while working directly with the CTO in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Manage security operations, including detection engineering, incident response, and alert triage across various platforms
• Design and enforce a zero trust access model while overseeing the security posture and compliance programs
• Ensure operational reliability by improving deployment pipelines and maintaining production infrastructure

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in security engineering and infrastructure, with at least 3 years leading a security program
• Substantial hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform, including IAM, VPC, and Google SecOps
• Proficiency in security operations, incident response, and building detection and triage systems
• Experience managing cloud infrastructure using Terraform and implementing zero trust access controls
• Familiarity with compliance standards such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, or PCI DSS
