Security Operations Team Lead

Job Summary

Leading a team of Security Operations Engineers, the full-time Security Operations Team Lead will manage incident responses, oversee the health of the Security Operations Center (SOC), and run the customer zero program, all while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the Security Operations team, setting priorities and building career paths
• Direct the response to major incidents, manage stakeholder communication, and own the after-action process
• Own the metrics and roadmap for the agentic SOC, prioritizing improvements and managing the fleet of security agents

Required Qualifications

• 5 or more years in security operations, incident response, or detection engineering, including senior or lead-level experience
• Experience running significant incidents end to end, including executive communication
• Proven leadership experience in mentoring or managing engineers or analysts
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted and agent-based security workflows
• Strong knowledge of AWS security architecture and cloud incident response
