Security Platform Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a hands-on Security Platform Engineer I, the full-time remote position will administer, monitor, and support customer-facing security platforms while troubleshooting complex issues and ensuring operational readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain customer-facing security platforms, handling Tier 3 escalations and restoring service through log analysis and system behavior evaluation
• Assist with planning and executing platform upgrades, patches, and releases, while supporting new-client onboarding and validating platform components
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to investigate and resolve platform outages, maintaining accurate documentation and applying a security-first mindset

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in IT, cybersecurity, systems administration, or platform engineering
• Strong knowledge of Windows, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, and network troubleshooting
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Azure/Entra ID, and endpoint security best practices
• Experience troubleshooting enterprise technology environments beyond Tier 1 or Tier 2 responsibilities
• A methodical approach to complex technical problems and the ability to work independently
