Security Practices Director

Job Summary

Seeking a seasoned Security Practices Director, this full-time remote position will apply Application Security expertise to lead technical security engagements for enterprise customers, ensuring secure implementation and usage of SaaS platforms while advising on vulnerabilities and risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and validate technical security engagements, applying AppSec expertise to enterprise customer projects
• Identify and advise on common application vulnerabilities, translating findings into risk-based remediation roadmaps
• Act as a trusted advisor to C-suite stakeholders, overseeing delivery teams and ensuring quality across engagements

Required qualifications

• 7-12+ years of hands-on Application Security experience, including secure SDLC and vulnerability management
• Deep knowledge of the OWASP Top 10 and common application-layer vulnerabilities
• Practical understanding of securing SaaS platforms, including configuration hardening and identity access management
• Strong executive communication skills, comfortable engaging with CISO and CTO-level conversations
• Security certifications such as CISSP or OSCP are strongly preferred
