Job Summary
To support a top AI lab, the full-time Security Software Engineer will evaluate and improve large language models through security-focused coding tasks, working remotely on a contracting basis with potential for long-term engagement.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate coding tasks related to software vulnerabilities, exploit verification, and security patches
- Create high-quality coding prompts and reference answers for benchmark-style problems
- Identify and document model failures, edge cases, and reasoning gaps in model outputs
Required qualifications
- At least five years of professional software-development experience with strong Python skills
- Hands-on experience with vulnerability research, exploit reproduction, or security patch validation
- Ability to apply structured evaluation criteria and provide clear technical feedback
- Fluency in written and spoken English
