Job Summary
Driving security initiatives, the full-time remote Security Specialist Software Engineer will lead the development of secure software solutions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and enhance the overall security posture of the platform.
Key responsibilities
- Driving security design and best practices across cloud, platform, and client implementations
- Collaborating with Product and Design teams to assess trade-offs and deliver innovative solutions
- Providing technical guidance and mentorship to support the growth of engineers within the team
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 6 years with a Master's degree, or a PhD with 3 years of experience
- Experience designing and implementing security strategies for public-facing software products
- Proficiency with AWS, IoT, and compliance concerns
- Demonstrated experience in maintaining, analyzing, and debugging Node.js services in production environments
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices and monitoring tools
