Job Summary
To support a growing initiative in security system design, the full-time remote Designer II will design and coordinate electronic and physical security systems for construction projects, collaborating with project teams to deliver tailored, construction-ready security packages.
Key responsibilities
- Design and document electronic security systems, including video surveillance and access control
- Produce accurate deliverables such as annotated floor plans and Division 28 specifications
- Collaborate with project managers and consultants to ensure compliance with codes and standards
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of low-voltage/security design experience
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD for technology construction design documents
- Knowledge of NEC, NFPA, EIA/TIA, and BICSI standards
- Experience with AI, automation, or emerging technologies in security systems
- BICSI and/or ASIS certifications preferred
