Security Vice President

Job Summary

To lead the security strategy and operations at Engine, the full-time salaried Security Vice President will build and oversee AI security functions, manage security engineering teams, and enhance operational security while collaborating closely with executive leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and manage the AI security function, including internal AI gateways and agent identity models
• Lead security engineering efforts across AppSec, SecOps, and CloudSec, driving the security roadmap and ensuring secure practices
• Oversee enterprise trust initiatives and security compliance, facilitating customer security reviews and supporting fundraising efforts

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in security with 5+ years in leadership roles, ideally in high-growth environments
• Strong technical expertise in AI security, cloud-native security, and security engineering practices
• Proven track record of building new security functions from the ground up
• Experience managing corporate IT functions, including identity platforms and SaaS governance
• Excellent executive presence with the ability to communicate effectively with boards and enterprise customers
