Security Vice President

Job Summary

To redefine security in an AI-native environment, the full-time salaried Security Vice President will lead the development of AI security capabilities, oversee security engineering and operations, and manage corporate IT functions while collaborating closely with senior leadership and representing security to the executive team and enterprise customers.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and lead the AI security function, including building an internal AI gateway and hardening consumer-facing AI surfaces
• Direct security engineering efforts across AppSec, SecOps, and CloudSec, while driving the existing roadmap for secure operations
• Manage enterprise trust initiatives, including security diligence for fundraising and customer reviews, ensuring compliance with SOC 2 and PCI standards

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in security, with at least 5 years in leadership roles during periods of hypergrowth
• Strong technical expertise in cloud-native security, including AWS identity and modern AppSec tooling
• Proven ability to build new security functions and teams from the ground up
• Experience with AI security concepts, including prompt injection and model-mediated data exfiltration
• Executive presence and capability to engage with board members and enterprise customers effectively
