Security Vice President

Job Summary

To lead the security strategy at a forward-thinking AI-native company, the full-time salaried Security Vice President will manage AI security initiatives, oversee security engineering and operations, and ensure enterprise trust while collaborating closely with senior leadership and the board.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and lead the AI security function, including the implementation of internal AI gateways and agent identity models
• Direct security engineering efforts across AppSec, SecOps, and CloudSec, driving a secure-by-design roadmap
• Oversee enterprise trust initiatives and security diligence for fundraising and customer engagements, ensuring compliance with SOC 2 and PCI standards

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of security experience with at least 5 years in leadership roles, particularly during hypergrowth phases
• Strong technical expertise in AI security, cloud-native security, and modern security tooling
• Proven experience building new security functions from the ground up
• Executive presence with the ability to engage with boards and enterprise clients effectively
• Familiarity with corporate IT management, including identity platforms and SaaS governance
