Self-Pay Account Representative

Job Summary

To support patient account management for the School-Based Health Services program, the remote Self-Pay Account Representative will manage calls regarding balances and billing, collect payments, and assist families with inquiries while ensuring accurate account management.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage inbound and outbound calls regarding balances, billing statements, and payment options
• Collect and process patient payments and establish payment plans
• Assist patients and families with billing inquiries and document account activity

Required qualifications:

• Associate's Degree preferred and/or medical billing and collections training
• Experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• NextGen EHR experience preferred but not required
