Job Summary
To support Scheduling Services, the full-time Senior Access Design Specialist will optimize patient access through workflow design, system configuration, and strategic consultation, working remotely and collaborating with various operational and clinical teams.
Key responsibilities
- Design, optimize, and maintain patient access workflows to enhance scheduling efficiency and overall patient experience
- Translate operational and clinical requirements into effective access designs, including scheduling logic and decision support tools
- Serve as a consultative partner to identify access challenges and recommend scalable solutions that support patient access goals
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management, Business Administration, Public Health, Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferred
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in healthcare operations, patient access, or related roles required
- Experience with outpatient scheduling workflows and systems, such as Epic Cadence, strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of patient access workflows and operational drivers of access performance
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to drive continuous improvement in patient access processes
