Senior Account Representative

Job Summary

Managing a portfolio of accounts, the full-time Senior Account Representative will ensure accurate and timely payment processing from insurers and patients while working remotely and mentoring staff in fiscal functions.

Key responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate and timely submission of claims, addressing payment discrepancies with insurers and patients
• Manage assigned accounts by overseeing billing, collections, and adjustments according to established standards
• Identify recurring issues in payment processes and recommend corrective actions to management

Required qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of claims/billing/collections experience, 4 years in a business office, a Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent education and experience
• Experience with medical billing, collections, and familiarity with ICD9, CPT4, and HCPCS codes preferred
• Proficiency in using personal computers and office equipment
• Understanding of third-party payer guidelines and reimbursement practices
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality
