Senior Accountant

Job Summary

Independently managing core accounting operations, the part-time Senior Accountant will oversee payroll processing, monthly reconciliations, and full-cycle Accounts Payable/Receivable in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Process payroll and ensure compliance with payroll tax requirements across multiple states
• Perform monthly transaction reconciliations for all bank and credit card accounts
• Prepare monthly P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reports, along with quarterly financial reporting for leadership

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of full-cycle, hands-on accounting experience
• Proficiency in QuickBooks, ADP, and Excel
• Experience in a sole or lead accounting role is preferred
• Background in multi-unit retail, museums, attractions, or hospitality is a plus
