Senior Accountant

Job Summary

Owning the monthly close process, the full-time remote Senior Accountant will manage reconciliations, inventory accounting, and balance sheet analysis under US GAAP while utilizing AI to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries, manage month-end close tasks, and apply revenue recognition for various sales channels
• Reconcile inventory across multiple platforms and maintain accurate cost assessments while supporting external audits
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations, conduct flux and trend analysis, and document processes to identify and address control gaps

Required qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of accounting experience with full-cycle month-end close ownership
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Working knowledge of US GAAP, including inventory and revenue recognition
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets, including pivot tables and data analysis
• Experience with QuickBooks Desktop and demonstrated daily use of AI tools in a professional context
