Senior Accountant

Job Summary

Supporting payroll processing and compliance, the full-time Senior Accountant will manage payroll-related reconciliations, month-end close activities, and assist with contract accounting analysis in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Review and reconcile employee and employer payroll-related accounts
• Own month-end close activities related to payroll, benefits, and related expenses
• Assist with analyzing contracts in the Sage Intacct Contracts module

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 5+ years of accounting experience, with significant payroll accounting experience
• Strong understanding of payroll taxes, employee deductions, and payroll liability accounts
• Experience reconciling payroll reports to the general ledger
• Proficient in Excel, including pivot tables and large data analysis
