Senior Accountant

Job Summary

Managing day-to-day accounting operations, the remote contract Senior Accountant will oversee the month-end close process, maintain accurate financial records, and support key financial initiatives within a growing organization in the financial services sector.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, account reconciliations, and management reports
• Maintain general ledger activities, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
• 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
