Senior Accountant
Job Summary
Responsible for advanced accounting and reporting activities in a full-time remote capacity, the Senior Accountant 2 will manage complex journal entries, oversee monthly close processes, and provide feedback to entry-level staff while ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP.
Key responsibilities
- Perform advanced accounting tasks to support monthly and quarterly financial reporting
- Assist in the execution of the monthly close process, including preparing complex journal entries
- Reconcile corporate cash activities and coordinate with Cash and Treasury teams to resolve issues
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5-10 years of experience in Shared Service or Corporate Accounting and/or with a Big 4 CPA firm
- Experience with financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP
- Familiarity with SOX requirements and internal controls
- Ability to collaborate with offshore team members and provide constructive feedback
