Senior Accountant
Job Summary
To support the Finance team, the full-time Senior Accountant will manage financial reporting, oversee accounting processes, and ensure compliance while working remotely from the continental United States.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP or IFRS
- Oversee general ledger activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations, while managing multi-currency transactions
- Assist in the development of annual budgets and conduct variance analysis to support strategic financial decision-making
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred
- 5+ years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a senior role within a technology company
- Strong knowledge of GAAP or IFRS and financial reporting standards
- Experience with cloud-based accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling tools
