Senior Accountant

Job Summary

To support financial reporting and compliance processes, the fully remote Senior Accountant will manage general ledger transactions, prepare financial statements, and ensure GAAP compliance while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage all general ledger transactions and prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare, file, and reconcile sales and use tax returns across multiple jurisdictions
• Ensure compliance with GAAP standards and support the annual audit process

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• 5 years of accounting experience, including sales tax reporting and reconciliations of large data sets
• CPA designation strongly preferred
• Experience in healthcare or long-term care insurance industries is a plus
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills
