Senior Accountant

Job Summary

To support financial reporting processes, the full-time Senior Accountant will manage complex balance sheets and financial statements, oversee lower-level accountants, and ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets and profit and loss statements
• Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing processes and reporting
• Research and interpret complex accounting transactions and provide recommendations to management

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting; CPA preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible accounting experience, including financial reporting
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and accounting principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
