Senior Accountant

Job Summary

Detail-oriented and experienced, the full-time Senior Accountant will manage full-cycle accounting, oversee multi-state and international payroll, and collaborate with the Financial Controller on financial reporting and project profitability in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Process end-to-end multi-state payroll and handle payroll-related inquiries
• Assist with month-end close procedures and prepare financial reports in compliance with GAAP
• Manage the accounts receivable cycle, including invoicing and monitoring collections

Required Qualifications

• 3-6+ years of general accounting experience, with at least 2+ years in a tech or startup environment
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or progress toward CPA is a plus)
• Advanced experience with cloud ERP systems and familiarity with project tracking platforms
• Strong understanding of GAAP, multi-state payroll, and project accounting
• Proven analytical skills in project costs and client profitability analysis
