Senior Accountant
Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time Senior Accountant will perform general accounting functions, including ledger reconciliation, journal entry preparation, and financial statement analysis, while ensuring compliance with GAAP procedures.
Key responsibilities
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and maintain general ledger activities
- Prepare monthly journal entries and detailed balance sheet account reconciliations
- Assist with quarterly and year-end audits and ensure adherence to internal controls
Required qualifications
- BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business or equivalent practical experience
- Three (3) to five (5) years of general accounting/finance experience required
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills and knowledge of Oracle ERP accounting software preferred
- Ability to work PST zone hours; West Coast candidates preferred
