Senior Accountant
Job Summary
To support key accounting functions in the monthly close process, the remote Senior Accountant will manage journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial analyses while ensuring compliance with GAAP and driving process improvements.
Key responsibilities
- Close the books monthly in accordance with GAAP, including journal entry preparation and P&L analyses
- Analyze period-over-period results and provide commentary on variances
- Automate and streamline processes while assisting with external audit information
Required qualifications
- 3-5 years of progressive experience as an accounting professional
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Public accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP
- Experience with large-scale ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Workday)
