Senior Accountant
Job Summary
Providing support in the preparation of financial statements, the full-time Senior Accountant will manage fixed assets, lease accounting, and monthly close journal entries in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements
- Complete monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts and journal entries
- Work with external auditors to provide necessary documentation and explanations
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3 or more years of experience in accounting or finance
- Understanding of US GAAP
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software such as Microsoft Dynamics SL or NetSuite
- Experience in the financial reporting close process
