Senior Accountant

Job Summary

To support accurate financial reporting across multiple jurisdictions, the full-time Senior Accountant will manage month-end close activities, general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities, ensuring accurate financial statements and general-ledger records
• Perform reconciliations across bank accounts, wallets, and intercompany balances, investigating discrepancies as needed
• Support revenue recognition and product accounting, analyzing revenue streams and maintaining financial controls

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
• Professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent, or advanced progress toward qualification
• 4-6 years of relevant accounting, audit, or financial reporting experience, preferably in fintech or multi-entity environments
• Strong understanding of general-ledger accounting, month-end close, and financial reporting
• Experience with accounting systems such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Xero is desirable
