Senior Accountant
Job Summary
To support the corporate finance team, the full-time remote Senior Accountant will assist in the preparation of financial statements, manage fixed assets and lease accounting, and prepare monthly close journal entries.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements
- Complete monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts and journal entries
- Work with external auditors by providing necessary documentation and explanations
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3 or more years of experience in accounting or finance
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and familiarity with US GAAP
- Knowledge of ASC 842 lease accounting
- Experience with financial reporting close processes
