Senior Accountant
Job Summary
To support the Corporate Finance department, the full-time Senior Accountant will assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements, manage fixed assets and lease accounting, and prepare monthly close journal entries in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements
- Complete monthly close journal entries and reconciliations for balance sheet accounts
- Work with external auditors, providing necessary documentation and explanations
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3 or more years of accounting or finance experience
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and knowledge of US GAAP
- Familiarity with ASC 842 lease accounting
- Experience with financial reporting close processes
