Senior Accountant
Job Summary
To support the Corporate Finance department, the full-time remote Senior Accountant will assist in the preparation of financial statements, manage monthly close journal entries, and ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements
- Prepare and complete monthly close journal entries and reconciliations for balance sheet accounts
- Work with external auditors by providing necessary documentation and explanations
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3 or more years of accounting or finance experience
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and familiarity with US GAAP
- Knowledge of ASC 842 lease accounting
- Experience with financial reporting close processes
