Senior Accountant
Job Summary
To support the corporate finance team, the full-time Senior Accountant will assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements, manage fixed assets and lease accounting, and prepare monthly close journal entries in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements
- Prepare and complete monthly close journal entries and reconciliations for balance sheet accounts
- Collaborate with external auditors by providing necessary documentation and explanations
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3 or more years of accounting or finance experience
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ASC 842 lease accounting
- Understanding of US GAAP
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics SL (Solomon) or NetSuite is preferred
