Senior Accountant

Job Summary

To support financial accuracy and efficiency in a growing SaaS business, the full-time remote Senior Accountant will manage month-end close processes, maintain the general ledger, and ensure compliance with technical accounting standards while mentoring team members.

Key responsibilities

• Own key components of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, including journal entries and account reconciliations
• Research and document technical accounting positions relevant to SaaS businesses and support the annual financial statement audit
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the close cycle

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience with hands-on ownership of the month-end close process
• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems and advanced Excel skills
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines independently in a remote environment
