Senior Accountant

Job Summary

To support a growing finance team, the remote Senior Accountant will manage accounts payable and receivable, lead month-end close processes, and drive automation improvements in accounting workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations, leading variance analysis during the month-end close
• Oversee accounts payable and credit card expenses, ensuring compliance with T&E policies and vendor payment controls
• Drive accounts receivable collections, managing aging accounts and maintaining customer relationships

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field; CPA preferred
• 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a SaaS or high-growth technology environment
• Strong understanding of GAAP and hands-on experience with AP, AR, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Self-starter with a passion for using AI and automation to enhance accounting efficiency
• Ability to work effectively in a lean team and collaborate with non-finance partners
