Senior Accountant

Job Summary

To support a growing practice, the full-time Senior Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting operations, oversee the monthly close process, and ensure accurate revenue recognition in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Run the monthly close for assigned entities, preparing a clear close package for CFO review
• Manage invoicing and payment application, ensuring accurate billing and revenue recognition
• Maintain organized accounting records for tax and audit compliance, responding to auditor requests as needed

Required qualifications

• Hands-on accounting experience with ownership of month-end closes and balance-sheet reconciliations
• Experience in SaaS or subscription accounting, including revenue recognition and deferred revenue
• Working knowledge of US GAAP and ability to apply accounting policies to transactions
• Experience preparing journal entries, accruals, and resolving accounting discrepancies
• Clear communication skills with customers and non-finance colleagues in a remote team setting
