Job Summary
Responsible for advanced accounting and reporting activities, the full-time remote Senior Accountant II will manage monthly and quarterly financial reporting, assist in the close process, and collaborate with offshore resources while ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP.
Key responsibilities
- Perform advanced accounting tasks and analyses to support financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP
- Assist in the monthly close process by preparing complex journal entries and monitoring sub-ledger interfaces
- Reconcile corporate cash activities and support the intercompany cash netting process in collaboration with Treasury and Banking teams
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5-10 years of experience in Shared Service or Corporate Accounting and/or with a Big 4 CPA firm
- Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and SOX compliance standards
- Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and account reconciliation platforms (e.g., BlackLine)
- Hands-on experience with corporate cash management and intercompany processes
