Job Summary
Owning the accounting function from transaction to financial statement, the full-time Senior Accountant will manage the month-end close, prepare financial reports, and apply revenue recognition for customer contracts while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the month-end close process, including reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statement preparation
- Apply ASC 606 revenue recognition to customer contracts and maintain accurate revenue schedules
- Serve as the primary finance contact for customers, managing billing inquiries and accounts receivable collections
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Progressive responsibility in accounting roles with ownership of the month-end close
- Hands-on experience with revenue recognition under ASC 606, particularly in B2B or services contracts
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and strong spreadsheet skills
- A track record of improving finance processes through automation or standardization
