Senior Accountant CPA Preferred

Job Summary

To support the company's growth, the full-time Senior Accountant, CPA preferred, will manage the month-end financial statement close processes, assist with financial reporting and compliance, and maintain strong internal controls in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with month-end financial statement close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
• Own key areas of the close process, such as month-end accruals, payroll, and cash accounting
• Identify and implement process improvements to expedite the close and strengthen internal controls

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• 3-4 years of experience in public and/or corporate accounting
• CPA or CPA eligible preferred
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, including GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley
• Experience with month-end close and financial reporting
