Senior Accountant (CPA Preferred)

Job Summary

Owning the month-end close and general ledger, the full-time salaried Senior Accountant (CPA Preferred) will manage revenue accounting, oversee accounts payable and receivable, and coordinate with external auditors while working remotely across the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timely completion
• Oversee revenue accounting for guest bookings, host payouts, and subscriptions, ensuring compliance with ASC 606
• Coordinate with external auditors and support tax compliance efforts across various jurisdictions

Required qualifications

• 5 to 8+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a high-growth startup, marketplace, or SaaS environment
• CPA (or equivalent) is strongly preferred, with Big 4 or public accounting experience being a plus
• Deep knowledge of US GAAP, particularly ASC 606 revenue recognition
• Experience with modern general ledger systems (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks Online) and advanced spreadsheet skills; SQL knowledge is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in high ambiguity and adapt to a fast-paced environment
