Job Summary
To support a growing fintech company, the remote Senior Accountant (CPA Required) will manage accounting operations, financial reporting, and internal controls while collaborating cross-functionally and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and document journal entries in accordance with GAAP and company policies
- Own and optimize the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and assist with the annual financial statement audit
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within financial services
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Exceptional attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy and organization
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment while working independently in a remote setting
