Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting

Job Summary

Owning the financial statement accounts and reconciliations, the full-time Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting will manage administrative and operating expense accounting, investment and debt accounting, and ensure effective reconciliations and controls while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and record administrative and operating expense accruals, and manage reconciliations for payroll and benefit-related accounts
• Maintain investment and debt accounting entries, ensuring compliance with technical accounting requirements and preparing monthly reporting for lenders
• Support the month-end close process and segregation of duties, while identifying and implementing automation tools to enhance accounting efficiency

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience
• Hands-on experience with account reconciliations and month-end close processes
• Strong understanding of accrual accounting and internal controls
• Detail-oriented with the ability to take ownership and drive tasks to completion
