Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Accountant II - Inventory will manage advanced accounting and reporting activities for a specific label, focusing on financial reporting, monthly close processes, and compliance with SOX requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Perform advanced tasks and analyses for monthly/quarterly financial reporting with an emphasis on finished goods and royalty expense
- Oversee the monthly close process, including journal entries and submission of close-related deliverables
- Maintain strong relationships with finance personnel across domestic and international affiliates while assisting with audit documentation
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5-6 years of experience in Shared Service or Corporate Accounting
- Knowledge and experience with SAP
- Experience working in a SOX controlled environment
- Experience conducting internal and external audits
