Senior Accountant - Illinois Licensed

Job Summary

Owning month-end accruals and general ledger accounting, the full-time Senior Accountant - Illinois Licensed will manage accounts payable processes, fixed assets accounting, and intercompany accounting in a remote environment across multiple entities.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee monthly/quarterly accruals and general ledger accounting for U.S. and international entities
• Manage accounts payable processes and vendor relationships, including fixed assets accounting and prepaid expense schedules
• Support the monthly close process and mentor AP support staff as the team expands

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a similar field
• 6-8 years of progressive general accounting experience
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite and AP automation platforms
• Experience with fixed assets, prepaids, accruals, and intercompany accounting
• A track record of building processes through periods of organizational change and growth
