Senior Accountant - Nevada Licensed

Job Summary

To support corporate financial operations, the full-time Senior Accountant - Nevada Licensed will manage the preparation of monthly financial statements, balance sheet reconciliations, and ad hoc accounting projects while ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Record transactional activity accurately in the general ledger and prepare monthly financial statements
• Evaluate and implement internal controls to ensure effective operational processes
• Provide timely and accurate financial reporting, including compliance with regulatory requirements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
• 3+ years of relevant experience in auditing or accounting
• Experience in preparing and reviewing general ledger account reconciliations
• Familiarity with financial reporting, including P&L review
• Preferred experience in the gaming industry and knowledge of MGM Resorts financial systems
