Senior Accountant - Remote
Job Summary
Supporting brokerage and member incentive accounting activities, the full-time Senior Accountant - Remote will prepare managerial and financial reports, manage month-end close deliverables, and conduct balance sheet reconciliations while working in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly journal entries and perform variance analysis
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations and reconcile financial reports for assigned areas
- Develop analytical financial tools and recommend enhancements to accounting methods and procedures
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; Master's degree preferred
- 3+ years of accounting or finance experience, preferably in public accounting or the healthcare industry
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with Oracle PeopleSoft or similar financial systems
